SUMMER PROGRAMMING: TWO-WEEK SESSIONS

June 15, 2020 – June 26, 2020

Rising 3rd – Rising 7th Graders

Every child is a little different. So we developed summer creative writing classes that match your child’s needs. For each option, classes will be held online over Zoom Videoconferencing, with security protocols. “Summer Camp” will be held Monday through Friday, for two weeks (10 class days), from June 15 – June 26, 2020.

We recommend that students spend the mornings in Creative Writing Summer Camp — the Combined Option (Option C) — but we understand that some children may want to choose Option A or Option B instead. Go for it! That’s why we created them!

Option A: ONE-HOUR/DAY for TWO WEEKS

Join for one-hour each morning, participate in fun writing activities, and enjoy creative writing. Students will conduct fun writing activities and write short stories with multi-dimensional characters, zany plots, and settings inspired by magic, science fiction, history, and real-world examples.

9:15 am – 10:15 am on weekdays for two weeks. $175

Option B: 1.5 HOURS/DAY FOR TWO WEEKS

Join for 1.5 hours each morning, brainstorm, write longer creative writing stories, and receive individual feedback. We promise, students will have fun and hone their writing skills.

10:30 am – 12:00 pm on weekdays for two weeks. $245

Option C: COMBINED — ALL MORNING/DAY for TWO WEEKS

Creative Writing Summer Camp — virtual style – Combine Options A & B, spend the mornings having fun and developing creative writing. The two sessions will be different, so we do encourage students to register for the combined class if they enjoy creative writing. Significant savings too! 9:15 am – 12:00 pm on weekdays, with a 15 minute break each day. $385.
